Malan Breton kept us on our toes after his most recent fashion week appearance – but the designer is finally back for the summer and giving us the action we’ve been waiting for. In a Miami Swim Week photo shoot Breton gave us a look at three fabulous swim week ready pieces perfect for hitting the beach.
The models posed in the luminescent Florida sunlight – posing in their immensely flattering suits beaming against the sand of South Beach Miami. Two of the three looks featured below are from Breton’s men’s swimwear collection. While one look includes a pair of men’s underwear with a solid black fabric and feather detail on the waistband - maintaining a brief silhouette, a white and red printed suit falls in the form of a board short. The black undergarment is more simplistic in graphic design but adheres to more of the model’s curves – accentuating the male body, revealing more skin, and therefore providing more of a sex appeal. Meanwhile the board short swimsuit has more excitement in terms of its surface design - adding a creative aspect to the look yet still appropriately fitting in all the right places.
Alongside the two men’s looks, Breton gave us a sneak peek at one of his fun and fresh bikinis in the women’s collection. With a grey base fabric and color blocked straps- the designer utilized white, black, Caribbean blue, and royal blue shades. The Caribbean blue tint is perfect for the Miami beach waters as they complement one another simultaneously. Adding the touch of royal blue right between the breasts of the suit gives it that extra funk and takes it just slightly past a neutral wave length. The suit depicts Miami and summertime perfectly - soothing neutral colors like the calm days and splashes of royal blue and black like the wild city nights.
We wish Malan Breton the best of luck this summer and are staying tuned for what’s to come!
